Believe it or Not

20x20 Acrylic on Birch Panel..Believe it or not this one does not have a title. Or maybe I am thinking this one over.. I know I need a new camera that I can capture the art its self without getting the surrounding area..
I did get back in the studio and worked on this piece a few days. I still have not put the varnish on.
I know my art jumps around from one thing to another.. I am still searching for where I belong.
But until I do, well welcome to my art world.. LOL
It has turned to fall here and the weather is perfect and the trees are turning beautiful colors.
I love this time of the year but I know what is just around the corner..Winter!!!!!!
So this week I will be out with my camera, Yes I will be using film because I have a real camera to take photos with. I will use Black and White film and then switch Film and take them with Color. Then I can tint the B&W.
Have a great week...Thanks for stopping and reading my blog.. I love to have visitor's and I love your comments.
May you always dream in color.

Hi Katelen. Good to see what you look like! You have a lovely sweep of trees to look out at.

hi katelen !!!
this is a good painting . and don't worry about to "find where you belong" .
the fact you are searching and experimenting is what makes your work so sincere .
yes , go out with you camera , blach 'n' white film ... wow , this is so good to do !!!
see you !!

Nice job. I jump around all over the place with my art interests. My ex-wife use to say, wait ten minutes, he'll change everything.

I love this painting with such nice colors. Art is freedom, keep searching and creating.

Hi Katelen,
I like "Believe It or Not" for a title for this piece, which has some awesome hot color.
My work is all over the place too,,,and maybe that's just who we are.

Katelen how is your Mom? I hope that she is doing well.

I know it is the last stages of COPD, my Mom has it too. So hard when they feel that they can't breath.

I am glad that you are there for her.

Hi Katelen! Janet Bees of the Lavendar Loft blotspot asked me to participate in an an Art Exchange. Your name was at the top of the list. I am from Alabama also! So hey neighbor!
Janet gave me your blog address so I could get an idea about you before I send you my art. I am so glad I stopped by today to read some of your words. They really spoke to me. It was like hearing my own voice. I too am an artist/poet/writer finding my way. My parents are elderly, but still in fairly good health thank goodness. I see them going downhill daily and it is not a road I want to go down. We just lost my Daddy's only sister. I have been handling her finances so I know how you feel about not having time for art. I tried to comment on your "Found Treasures" post as it really hit close to home. It was very similar to the post I posted yesterday on my blog: http://quoththerav3.blogspot.com
which I hope you will check out. I'd love to "hear" from you if you have the time. I hope we can form an artful friendship. I love all the creative things you say like dream in color. So cool!

Hello Katelen - guess what arrived in the mail for me yesterday? Yes, your paper and your art! Thank you so much for both! I've popped a bit of my art into your envelope too. Expect my package in about a week!
