But a sense of sorrow and longing tend to accompany fogs for me.
Forgiveness - such a powerful process. My heart cracked right open when I finally got it through my head, and heart, that the act of forgiveness was for me to give the gift of love and freedom to myself - unbinding the ties I'd knotted and secured to those that harmed me! I had to realize that none of the severe abuses my body endured, nor my ears heard, truly touched ME. The deep center of my soul was unharmed, and with this knowledge I was able to forgive.
I wish for you the gift of unconditional love through forgiveness,
KarinKarin Bartimolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13490920503677450338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3483039576886126826.post-21360915347625288842010-01-22T08:01:51.990-06:002010-01-22T08:01:51.990-06:00your metaphor of the fog is so descriptive of the ...your metaphor of the fog is so descriptive of the feeling of the grudge. Forgiven...Hi darlin, glad to see a post from you.
Forgiveness is a hard thing, because our feelings don't always match our desire to do so. Really what is forgiveness??? It's not saying the thing that needs to be forgiven never happened. It's saying I give up my right to hurt you for hurting me. This has helped me a lot, knowing that if I begin here, God will do the changing in my heart to enable me to eventually feel differently toward the person who wronged me, to be able to love that person without reserve.

Your photos are beautiful Katelen, as is your heart!

Hugs!!Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15425904812918507490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3483039576886126826.post-24308713897993906692010-01-21T17:04:05.237-06:002010-01-21T17:04:05.237-06:00Good to know the fog is lifting. xxGood to know the fog is lifting. xxJasminehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07101808317736275755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3483039576886126826.post-17926074518246151662010-01-21T16:48:23.718-06:002010-01-21T16:48:23.718-06:00Welcome back Katelen, it's good to see you, he...Welcome back Katelen, it's good to see you, here's hoping things will get better for you soon.
