I have titled it Peaceful Chaos... When I started this I was listening to Native American Flute Music..I painted to the music and some how me and my paint become part of the music.It was peaceful and it was calming..
Even among all the chaos in my life.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.. I hope everyone has something to be thankful for even if it is just the simple pleasure of the day.

In a word: stunning! I think I get the link from flute music, but which ever way you look at it, it is powerful. For my money it's finished!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I found your blog! Very refreshing, right down to the dandelions at the top. Today I viewed an acrylic that was 5'x5' - huge - of dandilions, in flower and going to seed, with all the parts painted across the bottom and numbered like a legend on a map. It made me about as happy as your blog. :)

Je crois néanmoins qu'une peinture peut-être aussi une sorte de prière, un vœu à pacifier le monde, une main tendue, un peu plus d'humanité à partager. How could i have missed this one? It's just gorgeous Katelen! It has a great nature feel; the green looks very organic to me. And the light coming from above and the bright red. I LOVE it a lot. It's great....

Do not know if it's peaceful. What we do know is that has a fine texture and color scheme. I love this abstraction so suggestive.
