Mixed Media Artist With The Heart of A Poet.
Yes, but who is doing the seeing ... the one closing her eyes, or the one looking at the one closing her eyes? Definitely an enigma here, complete with Mona Lisa smile! :-)
Hey Katelen!!Love the piece and I agree! I love to close my eyes and dream!!
Hi Katelen. I was doing just this morning, listening to the birdsong before it got light.
you're right Katelen . good sketch by the way . see you my dear friend !
Yes, see with our hearts eyes!I love today's words from your Mom. Snuggle away!!Hugs!Still slowly working on your painting. :)
I agree! eyes wide shut!
I love your painting and also I am touch with your mom's words, my father everyday will tell me stories when I was a little and how much I love to jump. lol
yes, sometimes we do see more in our mind than with our eyes-- and that is definitely where are art should come from-- not from what we see but from what we think we see
What a wonderful sketch!! Head up and profile! Now that's good!!!
A beautiful thought and a beautiful painting. I love to close my eyes and imagine things the way I'd like them to be....everyone at peace and happy with life.
Nice! I can see the inner peace & joy!
Your words and art; a beautiful marriage!
Beautiful words to live by!
With eyes open we merely see but with eyes closed we feel what we've seen. Fantastic art and words.
Very nice sketch Katelen. I can feel the experience through the facial expression and the posture
Yes, it is Fiestaware! :)
What a lovely expression she has on her face. Whispers of bliss. Really I can almost see what she is seeing, or at least something nearly as good. xx Jos
Yes, dreaming with eyes closed: One of my favorite activities. That is where we can see the possibilities. Blessings to you and your dear Mom.
Very expressive face. You're right,,,heartfelt things are much better viewed without vision.
It's true. Your image captures it beautifully. Reminds me of the time my girlfriends and I spent a summer in Hawaii. We were snapping pictures all over the place, but were stopped in our tracks, when a friend from the island pointed to his heart and said, "Why don't you just take a picture here?"
LOVE that neck!!!Thanks so much for all of your visits. I truly appreciate it.
