Waiting

I have been dreaming, which is not unusual for me. I have always dreamed and remembered them since I was a child. I wake up and when I know it has a story even if it is simple things. Like this Door and a Heart . I write them down, not always in my journal. It may just be a notebook that I start writing until I can not remember any more. Some are so insane and some are so beautiful. Dreams speak to me. I know some say, your weird they are just dreams. I know some have no meaning but others tell me a story. Sometimes I do not know what the story means but one day it will make sense to me. This piece is just done on Tar Paper 20x20..

It is simple made and simple words.

Yet the story is more than just Simple. It has a powerful Meaning.

May you always dream in color.

I believe in honoring our dreams...they talk to us...they inform us...shock and surprise us...always a story and who cares to understand everything...mystery is good!

I'm with you on believing dreams can tell us a lot & like BlueSky I like to honour mine as well by writing them down and taking a few moments to consider what they may be wanting me to realize. So often my inner world gets expressed through those dreams and allow me to pay attention.

So dream on...

It may have many meanings but only you can open that door.

stream of consciousness is a powerful tool and, linked with your artwork, even more so! Not weird at all! Tar paper, uh? cool!

I believe dreams are there to tell us something....we just have to figure out what it is.

It is great that you are able to remember enough to write your dreams down in some form. Sometimes dreams are so elusive it is nearly impossible to grab a hold of enough of them to remember anything. Love your posts, Katelen :-)

I agree. Dreams can be very powerful. I try to linger when the alarm goes off and often write them down and think of their possible meanings throughout the day. It’s good to listen to your dreams, whether they are goals or actually sleeping dreams.

simple and complex... like life:) funny how some dreams can be so powerful and others a blur of images. I wish I could remember mine!

This post caught my eye for a closer look. So funny you should mention dreams. Just lately I've been writing my dreams down as soon as I wake up. By noon I've already forgotten them. To go back and read about the dream when fully awake is so interesting!

Oh I like the colors. The simplicity is beautiful. I think we sleep just to dream. That is why people who take sleeping pills end up going berserk because the chemicals tamper with their dream machines and the brain needs those releases, at least that' what the psychiatrist said.
