Peaceful Chaos

This is done on wood 20x20..Acrylic.... I think this is finished but I am waiting..I have not signed it yet..I have put it aside and will look at it later..
I have titled it Peaceful Chaos... When I started this I was listening to Native American Flute Music..I painted to the music and some how me and my paint become part of the music. It was peaceful and it was calming..
Even among all the chaos in my life.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.. I hope everyone has something to be thankful for even if it is just the simple pleasure of the day.

I form the light and create darkness,
I bring prosperity and create disaster,
I, the Lord, do all these things......Isaiah 45:7

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family too Katelen. I love your latest work. It's fun to listen to music and paint and your soul does become a part of the music and the canvas. Great job.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

very intricate yet abstract painting. I usually paint while listening to music too. And the title is so true about life.

In a word: stunning! I think I get the link from flute music, but which ever way you look at it, it is powerful. For my money it's finished!

I am now hearing Native flute music in my mind, and a voice reading from Isaiah. Such perfect accompaniments to this beautiful painting, with lilting movement.

I'm so glad I found your blog! Very refreshing, right down to the dandelions at the top. Today I viewed an acrylic that was 5'x5' - huge - of dandilions, in flower and going to seed, with all the parts painted across the bottom and numbered like a legend on a map. It made me about as happy as your blog. :)

Bien amicalement,

Roger

How could i have missed this one? It's just gorgeous Katelen! It has a great nature feel; the green looks very organic to me. And the light coming from above and the bright red. I LOVE it a lot. It's great....

Do not know if it's peaceful. What we do know is that has a fine texture and color scheme. I love this abstraction so suggestive.
