Journey of Symbolic Words

This is done on water color Paper 12x15. Acrylic.
Words sometimes to not have to be letters as we know. It can be movement and symbols.
We can still understand it. It is like when one person speaks English and another person speaks Chinese.. If you look at a person face, and really look at the gesture of the face..You understand.
So this piece has a meaning even though you do not see words. It is the movement .
It is a journey.
Today was a good day, Me and my mom took a small road trip.. Just us two girls. I loaded up oxygen tanks, a pillow and bottles of water. My mom wanted to visit the area where her and my Dad lived. She said she was forgetting how the roads looked..She wanted to see the big trees that were in her yard.. To see if her flowers were still growing.
I was afraid it would make her sad.. It did not seem to, because when we were coming back to our home now.. She said it is good to be home again, my little girl..
So life changes, and life is good as long as there is Love.

May you always dream in color.

Lovely soft dreamy painting, Katelen. I'm so glad you had a day out with your mom. It make's getting home so special doesn't it? I bet your mom dreamed in color after the change of scenery.

How nice that you were able to take your mom back to her house. And also eonderful that she now considers your place as home. Love the painting....the soft colors are soothing and there is definitely movement.

I'm so glad you and your mom had a nice day together visiting her house and garden. Times like that are so special. And just a brief change of scenery makes home seem special again.
