Where did you come from?

Piece done on water color paper. It started as my piece of paper I clean my left over paint with and then as I finally cover the page . I looked and there they were just waiting for me to see them. So it's like where did you come from? Oh yes, from me. Using my imagination , to create to find the shape to just dream them up.. Oh art is so much fun .
The thing is I have so many small pieces of art I am going to have to finally take a few to the Antique Store and I am going to make a small art gallery and try to sale . So cross your fingers and toes that there will be a lot of art lovers of small pieces . That will buy them...LOL

My Mom has been on good behavior this week.. A couple of weeks ago she decided to play with matches and almost burned her studio down.. Not funny, scared me to tears and then just like a mother I had to scold her.. That is a very hard thing to do. Especially when I am the child and she is the parent. Then she has been sleep walking, it was some new medicine the doctor put her on and we had to take her off that. When she decided to sleep walk at night outside.
Life is a blast in this neighborhood...Don't you guys want to visit?
Have a good week and I hope life treats you kind.

May you always dream in color.

Isn't it fun when things just appear on your paper? I love doing art like this....and I, too, clean my brushes off on a piece of paper and then use it later as art!

That must have been so scary for you and for your mom. Sleep walking outside and playing with matches! Two things you just don't want to deal with. I'm glad your mom is ok. I like the picture you have of her on the side of your blog.

I love this piece and your words... especially, "dream up..." I am so glad you have your art during this challenging time... my father is more and more forgetful... but I have him in an assisted care about 20 minutes away... so I know he is safe. This must be so hard for you. Take time to love yourself. Roxanne

You can get something neat when you clean your stamps also. I have done that before. It was a previous picture and post entitled "Trash Art". Thanks for your comments on my blog.I figured you had been busy with your mom. Just didn't know about the matches and fire! Thank goodness it wasn't worse. My recent post have echoed your's about me being the adult parent and my parents now being my children. Funny how that happens. I hope to have more art up so but I am cleaning house preparing for my husband's family on Thanksgiving. Your art from me should be arriving soon but possibly after Thanksgiving. I received an email from a close good friend who is sending me something! I am excited now! I am like a child at Christmas waiting for the gift. Hang in there. Thanks again for your comments.

Katelen your Mom is beautiful, I just looked at ther picture.

It is really hard to help take care of anybody. I have and am in both positions, being cared for and helping take care, it is hard, both are very hard.

Wishing you happy sales with your wonderfully imaginative art.
What dear sweet mom you have. You are doing good things by being so involved in her life.

Katelen my Mom is in the hospital she had an exporation for her COPD which I guess is like a flare up.

So hard to see her struggle for breath. So hard to see.

Hope all is well with your Mom.

Love Renee xoxo

Oh, I love it when images appear in a painting. I wish you well in selling your art, someone will be touched by your art and have to take it home. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. It is such a treat to meet someone new.
