EVERY LEAF

This is another piece done on Arches water color and it seems to go along with my series of working on words. For my love of trees and my love for words..It is only right that I should combine them together.. Trees have always seemed to speak to me.. I suppose my Father taught me how to listen.. My Dad loved nature and he could tell you the name of every tree.. What it's purpose was and what secrets you could learn from it.. Trees have lots of secrets.
Especially the ones that have been around for 100 years..
I hope you enjoy my words, where they are words of wisdom.. That I am not for sure..Are they truth, sometimes, and sometimes you just have to believe..For if we believe, maybe anything is possible.. Just ask the trees who dance, for they believe..

May you always dream in color,
Katelen

Katelen this is a beautiful piece. I really like that you combined the tree and the words.

I love in your dream piece that the horse represents Hope. Our hope is not just a wishful thinking like "I hope".... but a HOPE that is firm and sure!!

How's your mama doing?

Have a blessed day,
Mary

I really love how you see things! I've always felt a kinship with trees, too, and often hugged them when I was a child. When my daughter was a little girl, she thought the sound of the wind in the leaves was the trees laughing and whispering. Is there anything more beautiful than a gnarly, old tree full of character?

I hope you and your dear Mother are well.

Once again you've created such a beautiful and meaningful piece. Trees seem like wise old souls to me and to have this one sharing words is perfect.

Your combining of words with imagery has created a beautiful piece! I live near the redwoods and a walk among them puts me in a state of awe.
