Looking beyond the Sun

This is done on water color paper 15x20. Acrylic and pastel.
Ever sat outside on a sunny day and look at the sun and some how it is like you can not take your eyes away from its brightness.. You keep staring and the brightness starts turning to colors. You can see all these colors and then some how it turns to darkness. Then you close your eyes and you can still see the colors in your mind. Maybe you never have experienced this and maybe I sit outside too much and get to much sun..LOL..

The light is so bright
I can not turn away
It pulls me closer
It shares the moment of an artist
It throws me into darkness
Then releases me into a world color.

Yes, I know just what you mean about looking at the sun and all the colors but you've managed to capture that on paper!! Gorgeous!
