This is done on wood panel 12x12. We all have dreams, sometimes we share them and sometimes we do not.. This is one of those times..This is a symbolic piece to me.. I will let you interpret this one for your self.. I hope you will let me know what you see.
You may not see anything except symbols or you may see an entire story being told. I do hope so. Reach deep and use that imagination...
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend..

May you always dream in color,
Katelen

There is the potential for a union of sorts in this picture as the female element, represented in white as the hand, spiral and horse, are about to be lassoed in by the male element, represented by the stick figure with rope and the square spiral. The anticipated capture is perhaps longed for as indicated by the red tattoo on the female’s hand. Of course, the genders may be reversed but I base my interpretation on the circular shape versus the square shape. Anyway, that’s my lean on the painting. Nice job.

The spiral usually symbolizes the cycle of life. I see, perhaps, the union of two souls. But, whatever the interpretation, it's a very imaginative piece!

It is like a cave painting of a vision or a dream. The horse, the stars. I see it as freedom... flying away in the night on the back of a white horse. I love it. Roxanne

I see two souls the spiral and the circle struggling with saying goodbye. The horse is one of the owners of the soul and the cowboy is taking him to another place....but he looks back because he knows he will miss the person (the hand) but he must go. The hand reluctantly waves goodbye because she knows that they are two connected souls forever.

Very cool, yes like a cave painting, very spiritual feeling.

cool painting. and I enjoyed reading all the interpretations. As Funky art said, I am thinking it is about physically letting go but remaining emotionally connected.

I love the composition and colors in this and the message is pretty powerful I believe. I think the previous interpretations have summed up what I would see in this.

Dream are very interesting. These are just observations, for symbols in dreams are personal. What one symbol represents to a person can mean something all together to another. We all have our own dream code.

I have read that if there are other in your dream, they really represent parts of yourself.

The spiral can represent eternity

the hand looks like it is reaching, not palm
up releasing. More action to it and not resting.

the horse is looking back

the hand and horse are white (same?)

however the figure with lasso are red as well as the square spiral - a spiral with hard edges.

looks like both the hand and lasso figure are striving to hold on.

I would love to know what the symbols mean to you.

Blessings.
