Wash Away

This is piece done on recycled paper 20x24..I used acrylic and acrylic ink and what ever I found on my work table. I layered and layered the back ground and then I covered it all up.. A tree some how grew and grew and then I heard wash it all away . Then Heaven opened up the sky and washed it all away.. Sadness and Angry sometimes are combined together.. We carry it around with us and if we do not let it go we can not grow..Sometimes we have to look up to Heaven and say I can not handle all this on my own.. So he said let it go and let me wash it all away. I sat down on the floor and I first let the anger go and then the tears began to fall, covering my face and letting it wash away. I picked up my Bible and I read a verse in Psalms.
There was calm and then there was peace. I had let it go and handed it to God.
Tomorrow or the next day as human as I am, I will probably try to pick up all of it again and carry it with me some more.
My mom is such a blessing to me.. She is sleeping a lot and she dreams a lot . Her problems she gives it all to God and does not worry about today or even tomorrow. She says He will take care of it all. So why worry.. She is much wiser than me..
I appreciate all that ask about my Mom and I appreciate all that out there and visit my blog.
Just a big THANK YOU.
May you always dream in color,
Katelen

Wow!Good thought and strong piece! God is meeting our needs, healing our hurts, and resolving our issues. He gives us opportunity to see and run freely with Him...Yes let Him wash all our issues away, so we can rejoy, run freely and just enjoy "TODAY." Tomorrow may not come, so just enjoy every "TODAY."

This is beautiful!!

Our GOD is a
RESTORING
REDEEMING
HEALING
RENEWING
GOD

You are right about sadness and anger. Most times anger is the response of hurting. Depression can be anger turned in on ourselves.

He is speaking through your art - you are hearing him!!

Blessings dear Katelen!

Powerful post. I agree that anger and sadness often come at the same time.
