Searching for the Light

This is done on Arches water color paper 12x25. Mix Media Acrylic and Pastel..
The photo is not showing the colors of this and in the bottom right corner it is done in white.
Maybe this is just a piece that I should not even post.. I just decided to go with it.. You should click on the picture to get a better look.
The Light is the Path.
The Dark is the Fear.
It keeps turning so fast.
I can not seem to Find My Self.
OK..So As a Artist I am always searching .
We can never stop searching as an artist, for if we did we would quit existing.

I like this. I think you're right on target that artists are always searching--that's what makes us who we are. :)

Oh yes,,,,the joy is in the process!
Enlarging really brings in a whole different perspective,,and I like it!

I love the gold here - like looking into a lovely metal bowl to a little crescent moon at the bottom.

That is so true...as artists....we are always searching to find ourselves. Love this abstract piece.

I notice fear(black) at the core of your painting - but I also see a ray of light there!!!

Wow!!!

This imagery fits so well with your quote by Charlotte Bronte.

Hi sweetie!

Boy...that is a very powerful piece! I see a 'deep dark hole" that we all seem to get into sometime in our life...but, all the beautiful colors on the outside and swirling reminds me of the beautiful life that keeps us going and pulls us out of the "deep hole".

Great job! Have a beautiful & creative week...xo...deb

Interesting painting. It seems to me that so much in life, both emotional and physical, can be pared down to simple shapes of geometry. Energy flows along those line whether it be ripples in a pond or invisible sound waves. The vortex of a black hole, which your painting reminds me of, holds to this realm. Nice painting.
