Tea and Meditation

This a mix media piece 10x12 on canvas board..
This is just a fun piece I did. Can you say I need a little time for me.!!!!!!!
I don't get much of that and when I do I still carry every thing with me. Worries . So I need a little help from up above and some time to relax.
I am getting a night and a couple of days. So I am off to a art show in Atlanta with a friend. She is having her first big show.. So I am going along to support her. ENVY>>>> LOL...
I hope everyone has a good weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.

May you always dream in color,
Katelen

Katelen, I've been away from here too long,,,,you've really been busy!
Love the imagery in this current painting,,,and so true,,,we need that precious time to ourselves. Oh I hope you have a blast at that show,,,and I bet you will. Perfect get-away!
Also enjoyed the trees (and the story) and the collage in your previous posts.
REALLY nice work!

Interesting combination of images. The cartoon figure is totally unexpected. Nice job.

I found you on Janet's blog. I love the cartoonish figure too. And the tea pot serving tea out of no where. I hope you had a great time at the art show.

Great collage and it speaks of your need for play...love the teapot and cartoon character and yet the right side shows beauty and peace so for this weekend, I hope you get all the rest, relaxation, peacefulness and play!

This one just made me smile! I'm so happy you're getting some "me" time and how fun to be going to an art show. Have fun and then come back and tell us about it.
